Welcome to the London Inn
We are open!
The London Inn is open for food and drinks – evenings only – Tuesday to Saturday, and for Sunday lunch. For the time being we will be closed Monday and Sunday evenings. Takeaway menu is still available Tuesday to Saturday evenings and Sunday lunch.
We have worked hard to change the layout of the pub, and we ask you to follow these rules so that we can stay open safely:
PRE-BOOKING ONLY, even just for drinks
Call us on 01769 550269 to book
We will ask for contact details at time of booking to comply with track & trace
Maximum 6 people in one group
Limited indoor and outdoor seating
One way system in place
We will do our best to take your drinks orders at your table, but if you do come to the bar for ordering, please only 1 person from your group. The bar is a narrow point in the pub so we are trying to avoid congestion there
Limited menu, but it will be as tasty as ever
We have hand sanitisers at each door, please use before entering and again when departing
Toilets and general areas will be cleaned regularly
Please be respectful and observe the social distance rule whilst at the pub so that we can stay open safely.
Opening hours for pub
Pub open for food & drinks
Tuesday and Wednesday: 6pm to 8pm
Thursday to Saturday: 6pm to 8.30pm
Sunday: 12.30pm to 3pm
If you would like to come for lunch, we would be more than happy to open, if it is pre-booked a day in advance (excluding Mondays).
The London Inn at Molland is a traditional 16th century dining pub set in the beautiful countryside on the edge of Exmoor National Park. Steeped in history, it is a pub full of character and charm. We have a spacious restaurant, and our beer garden offers lovely views of rolling fields and wandering pheasants – somewhere you can sit and watch village life go by.
How to find us
To find us, travelling by car from the A361, exit at B3227 (signposted Bampton & Dulverton). Within 3/4 mile, turn left (signposted Molland) and follow the road for approximately 3 miles, passing the Black Cock Inn and under the old railway bridge. The road then bends sharply to the right - a SatNav may send you straight on at this junction but that takes you through a ford, so it is a more pleasant road if you follow it to the right. Continue on this winding road, through forestry until you enter Molland village. Follow the road up the hill - the London Inn is at the far end of the village next to the church. Parking is available in front of the church.
